DUTCH BABY PANCAKE RECIPE
A nice Dutch baby pancake recipe to try !
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tbsp. sugar (opt.)
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS
Put a cast-iron frying pan in the oven and preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend at high speed until everything is thoroughly mixed into a smooth batter. Scrape the sides of the blender container to be sure all the flour is blended in the batter.

When the frying pan is hot, melt about a tablespoon of butter in pan. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 20 to 22 minutes. You can cut the pancake into wedges, or you can leave it whole. Traditionally, you serve these with lemon and powdered sugar. At our house, we like them with strawberries that we froze in the spring. The Dutch baby pancake recipe is ready to serve...enjoy !
